  • Head (Quality Assurance and Testing - SBU) at a leading IT Services company.
  • Responsible for P&L of the business unit driving sales and operations.
  • Client Engagement Management/Project Management on dedicated testing projects in offshore and onsite-offshore mode.
  • Lead, Manage and Mentor the team to build team/organisational capabilities around software quality.
  • Pre-sales technical support for confidence building on software processes, methodologies and testing practices.
  • Spearheading the Software Process Improvement (SPI) initiative to co-ordinate activities of Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG).

  • Setting up software testing teams from scratch, establishing testing processes, metrics and measurements, setting up an offshore testing center, managing offshore testing projects, participation in pre-sales activities for development and test projects, client relationship management.
  • Heading lifecycle activities of organization, Complete Software Quality Management (Processes and Testing), Software Process Management, Process Definition, implementation, internal auditing/monitoring, preventive/corrective actions, process awareness activities, process improvement through SPI/SEPG initiatives.
  • Project Management including requirements gathering, client communication/expectations management, project planning, scheduling, status reviews/tracking, delivery management and team management. At organizational level, experience in setting up structured status review processes and establishing a PMO.
  • Technical Writing, Content Writing, Information Design and Delivery. Having worked extensively in documentation helps extensively in better communications on projects and teams.
  • Excellent Communication skills coupled with sound understanding of business in multi-shore models.
