14 Years of Blogging

This blog recently completed 14 years.

Something that started as a small step in documenting my lessons back then feels like a giant leap now.

Most giant leaps are a sum total of small steps taken consistently.

I still find that joy in hitting publish button and see my half-cooked thoughts and tentative scribbles go out into the world. The joy that is far bigger than all the metrics this blog generates.

When journey itself is exciting, the destinations don’t matter much.

The joy multiplies manifold when people write back to me expressing how these insights and sketch notes help them in their respective contexts.

Blogging activity has been immensely rewarding.

It gave me clarity of thought. Taught me to be generous in sharing. Helped me  contribute to conversations and start a few. Made me a better organizational leader and learner. Most importantly, it helped me belong to a community generous leaders and learners.

My values of blogging are centered around Lifelong Learning, Generosity in sharing, Creativity, Learning with Others and Better Practice through Reflection.

My blogging journey has been inspired by so many people during these years. Those whose blogs inspire my thinking. Those who choose to read what I write. Those who share my work and appreciate it. Those who offer helpful criticism on what/how I create. Those who use my work to raise the bar. I am very grateful to all of them.

At this juncture, I would like to give a big shout out to some of my favorite individual bloggers whose work I admire and read regularly:
