A Round Up of My Writing in March 2010
Tanmay Vora
March was again a productive blogging month. I lost first half-a-month worth of my writing time because of a business trip to Helsinki (Finland), but I could catch up eventually.
First quarter of 2010 is gone – time really flies. You can revisit my writing in January 2010 and February 2010.
In case you missed any of my posts in March, here is a quick round up of all my writing in March 2010.
My Writing at QAspire Blog
-
My first post of March was focused on the topic of ‘Differentiation’. I presented a few thoughts on differentiation and a few quick ideas of how organizations and individuals can differentiate themselves.
-
The next post took the topic of differentiation forward with thoughts on how you can focus on actions and leverage your past experience in current context to deliver unique value.
-
I wrote earlier about ‘11 Things Project Managers and Leaders Should Never Do’. I carried that list forward by adding ‘7 More Things Project Managers and Leaders Should Never Do’.
-
An interaction with one of my senior colleagues prompted me to share my lesson in form of ‘Adding Value and Importance of 102%’. The post generated some interesting comments too.
-
I reviewed a nicely written book by Greg Cohen titled “Agile Excellence for Product Managers”. If you are a product manager, this book review and hence this book should really help you gain better understanding of Agile from product management perspective.
-
I have been interfacing with customers since many years now and I thought about distilling three most important lessons I learned in building great relationships with customers. This thinking resulted in a post titled ‘3 Lessons in Building Great Relationships with Customers.’
-
Last Saturday, I shared link love of posts I enjoyed reading in that week. The post was titled ‘Saturday High-Five: Posts I Enjoyed Reading Last Week’. It is a collection of 5 choicest articles from my friends.
-
Unless ‘Doing’ does not complement ‘Knowing’, ‘Knowing’ is of no use. I wrote a post ‘From Knowing to Doing and Execution as Your Best Strategy’ containing an inspiring story of Coleen Barrett, Ex-President of Southwest Airlines and how she differentiated herself by focusing on execution.
Looking forward to April 2010
A quote from Mark Twain says, “The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year!” Jokes apart, I look forward to April 2010 as a month of rejuvenation, change and spirit of new opportunities.
I wish you a lot of energy, enthusiasm and passionate involvement in your work as you start April 2010!
